What’s wrong with Grandpa?

What's wrong with Grandpa?

‘What’s wrong with Grandpa?’ was an A5 booklet about dementia, designed and illustrated for the final year dissertation of a group of NHS student nurses, who wrote the text for the story (© 2015 Clarke, Chrichton, Deakin, Elkington, Farr & Gunn).

With the aim of explaining the effects of dementia and Alzheimer’s within a family setting for younger children, the book’s rhyming storyline and illustrations were designed to bring comfort and reassurance and help to explain the diagnosis and progression of some of the complex and challenging aspects of the disease.
